BIOGRAPHY

George Frankel, a proud fifth-generation resident of New Castle County, embodies a deep-rooted commitment to the community he calls home. He is the son of a former public school civics teacher and the grandson of a Delaware State Trooper. His journey into politics started in 2015 after United States Senator Christopher Coons appointed him as Delaware’s Senate Page, a role that ignited his passion for public service. George’s academic pursuits led him to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and then to Hong Kong, where he earned a master’s degree in International Relations, broadening his perspective and enhancing his capacity for thoughtful leadership.

A CAREER OF SERVICE

Currently, he serves as the Senior Business Liason for the Delaware Workforce Development Board. In this unique position, George has spoken with hundreds of employers throughout the state to better understand Delaware’s workforce needs and how we, as a state, can better prepare to meet them. A proud homeowner in Wilmington, George Frankel is driven by a genuine desire to amplify the voices of all New Castle County residents, leveraging his diverse experiences to champion a future that reflects the values and aspirations of the vibrant community he serves. He hopes to serve as a fresh set of eyes for New Castle County.
